Parkour

Parkour as a discipline is moving freely over and through any terrain. The main physical actions used are running, jumping, climbing and quadrupedal movement. Parkour helps develop functional strength and fitness as well as balance, spatial awareness, agility, coordination, precision, and control.

 

At ESGC we focus on teaching the skills to move freely over and through terrain in a safe and controlled environment. We encourage our athletes to take the skills they are confident with in class and try them in different terrains outside the gym as well as in the gym.

 

This program is only available for 5 – 16 year olds.

Class Details

Class Times:

Beginners – Saturday 1:30pm to 2:30pm

Advanced (Invite only) – Saturday 2:30pm to 3:30pm

Invitational (Invite only) – Saturday 3:30pm to 4:30pm

 

Class Costs:

$252.00 for a 10 week term

 

Dress Code:

A T-shirt (any design) and shorts or leggings. No hoodies or very loose/baggy clothes. Bring a pair of sports shoes with clean soles, as some skills will be practiced wearing shoes.
